Introduction
The Chili Production Line is designed to enhance flavor and extend the shelf life of chili seasoning. During processing, ingredients such as salt, sugar, vinegar, starch, and food preservatives (sodium benzoate, potassium sorbate) are precisely added. All materials are measured using weighing systems or flow meters to ensure accurate proportions.
Once prepared, the ingredients are mixed in a blending tank, followed by homogenizing, degassing, and pasteurizing. To maintain product safety and freshness, chili seasoning is hot filled at 85–89°C, as it contains rich nutrients. After hot filling, a water bath pasteurizer or spray-type pasteurizing cooling tunnel is applied for secondary pasteurization. The product is then cooled from 80°C down to 30°C before final packaging in cartons or shrink wrap.
The complete Chili Production Line typically includes:
RO water generating system
Hot water generating system
Sugar dissolving system
Tomato ketchup blending system
Homogenizing, degassing & sterilizing system
Filling & packaging system
CIP cleaning system
Since the packaging method directly determines the choice of filling equipment, we provide tailored solutions according to different packaging requirements. The production line can also be customized in continuous or batch type, depending on the client’s budget and production capacity.

Production Flow for Chili Production Line

The bubble washing machine is equipped with a water circulation pump and bubble generators. Materials are gently cleaned and moved forward by rolling water, effectively simulating manual washing. This process ensures thorough cleaning while minimizing damage to the raw materials.

The jacketed cooking pot, also known as a steam pot or jacketed steam kettle, is widely used in the food processing and pharmaceutical industries. According to process requirements, jacketed pots can be designed as fixed, tiltable, or stirred types, with optional functional parts for greater customization.
The pot body features a double-layer spherical structure, where the middle jacket is heated by steam or electric heating. This design provides:
Large heating area & high thermal efficiency
Uniform heating with consistent results
Short boiling time for liquids
Easy and precise temperature control
With its flexible configuration and strong customization options, the jacketed cooking pot is ideal for diverse production needs.

The blending process is the core stage in tomato ketchup seasoning production. After mixing, a semi-finished ketchup product is obtained. This hybrid process involves thermal mixing, which improves efficiency by maintaining the temperature at 60–65°C for about 15–30 minutes, depending on the recipe.
The blending tank is constructed with a triple-layer SUS304/316 stainless steel 2B plate and equipped with a paddle mixer operating at 0–65 rpm. It is the ideal solution for mixing diluted tomato concentrate, sugar, and other ingredients into ketchup.
Key features include:
High-quality structure: Three-layer stainless steel design for durability and hygiene.
Efficient mixing: Paddle mixer ensures even blending at controlled speed.
Integrated system: Equipped with material inlet/outlet, PT100 thermometer, steam valve set, liquid level sensor, CIP cleaning ball, and sanitary valve.
This system guarantees consistent product quality, precise temperature control, and easy cleaning, making it essential for ketchup and seasoning production.

After homogenization and pasteurization, chili sauce or ketchup can be packed into four-sided sealed bags, tin cans, PET bottles, glass bottles, or stand-up pouches, depending on customer requirements.
The filling machine is designed to adapt to different packaging formats, ensuring accurate filling, high sealing quality, and maintaining product freshness. We provide customized filling solutions to match specific packaging needs, whether for small-scale production or large industrial lines.

To ensure product safety and extend shelf life, the finished product requires secondary pasteurization. Two sterilization methods are available, selected according to the packaging type:
Spray Pasteurization & Cooling Tunnel:
For tin cans or bottled ketchup, hot water is sprayed onto the product surface for pasteurization, followed by cooling water until room temperature is reached.
Water Bath Pasteurization:
For dose packs or stand-up pouches, the products are fully immersed in hot water for pasteurization, then cooled with cold water. Finally, compressed air is used to remove surface droplets.
The secondary sterilization process includes:
Preheating with 95°C hot water
Precooling with warm water to about 65°C
Final cooling to room temperature (≈30°C)
The entire cycle takes approximately 40–60 minutes, ensuring food safety, stability, and extended shelf life.
